Carbon brushes for GPRV 1.6: The function of carbon brushes is to supply current to the rotor's commutator, enabling the motor to start.
The brushes are pushed against the commutator by a small spring, allowing the current to flow.
When the brushes are worn out, there is no longer any contact.
